From the EC: KCARA Club Letter August

Hello everybody, another month has come and gone and we have been diligently working on building the Club and ARES. We might even be able to say we are making progress.

So lets start with tomorrow night. Last week we had our first club net on a repeater over in Wills Point. We had a few challenges but we think it went pretty well our second net will tomorrow night. Hope to see ya’ll there. Here is the information for that:

Every at Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.

All licensed amateurs are welcome and encouraged to participate in this net.

It is also time to remind everybody that we are returning to our original meet venue this month. Last month the turn out was kind of slim but it was raining pretty hard. I know this month will be much better. We will be meeting at:

The week long operating event went well last month we talked to a few folks that weren’t aware we had a club here in Kaufman county and made a few friends. We are working on something similar this month and we will keep you posted on that is going.
