Richard is Internet Pioneer having had a presence on the World Wide Web since the early 1990’s and Land Line BBS systems in the late 1980’s. In some form he has had a website in some form on the web since 1992.
He is also a pioneering podcaster having developed and produced four Podcasts in undeserved niches between 2004 and 2022 developing a world wide listenership.
He is also responsible for founding Black Sparrow Media for the purpose of bringing together podcasts devoted Amateur Radio and the Linux operating in a single location for public consumption.
Richard has also worked in the Private Security, Music, Film and Restaurant industries for many years.
Richard has held multiple leadership positions with The Amateur Radio Relay League, Amateur Radio Emergency Service and The Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service and multiple local Amateur Radio organizations and working as a volunteer for the National Weather Service thus pursuing his passion for education and public service since 1988.
